March 5, 2005 was my debut in Japanese Play. The stage was nice, complete with lightings and sound equipments. The actors and actresses gave their best during the play itself. Some lines were skipped, some sound effects were played a little earlier than planned, but everything went smoothly.

After the play, the entire cast went out for a drink. Though I consider myself as an adult already, this was my first time to be with people in their mid-30s and up. We had a few drinks, some food, and a nice and lively conversation. Then people just drink and drink until everyone is noisy and laugh alot. Some cried, some kept quiet, some were just plain noisy. I discovered alot of stuff, some inside information like this lady wants to divorce her husband; this guy is an author of a series of novels in Japan; this lady who lived in America for 50 years prefers life in America than in Japan; this lady who used the word sex in the conversation; etc etc.

Then when we were about to get home, the ladies were laughing laughing for no reason or perhaps there was a reason I just didn't understand. My point is it was my first time to see drunk adults. *wink*

I realized that people do come from different walks of life. It would be nice to meet all kinds of people given the opportunity and the time. I have already met businessman, IT professionals, author, play director, and recently a chef (cakes). I would like to pick their brains and see what I can learn from their field of specialty. But I guess everyone has a common denominator, it doesn't matter what your job is as long as you show geniune interest, I think everyone can be friends.
For your information, the play was entitled
I know.. but do I really know. わかっているけど。。わかってない?
